Help to set and achieve new goals and transform your life

When it comes to goals, there’s a lot of advice out there. The general rule is what’s easiest and quickest is preferable, but we’ve heard that a change can be as good as a rest period.

Our experience has proven that you don’t have to do it all at once. Start with small steps and then take larger ones when you feel you’ve gotten to the next level. Once you’ve done that, your life has gotten a chance to change. It will transform and you will change. You can’t grow up and become a master of the universe without first setting goals.

The things we do today have a profound effect on what happens tomorrow. If you want to be more productive, you’ll have better time management skills. If you want to be healthier, you’ll take better care of yourself. If you want to become a better coach or mentor, you’ll have better communication skills. And if you want to be a better parent, you’ll have better relationships with your children. To get where you want to go, you’re going to have to start somewhere, and that means setting goals. When I asked hundreds of people–myself included–what they’re happiest about, here’s what came up: the people who had made the biggest dent in their lives were the ones who found a goal that changed their whole world.

We all want to feel fulfilled. But when you’re trying to change your life, finding happiness and fulfillment is not enough. This is especially true in our striving times. In a quest for more, we all want more and more. Instead of adding an inch, we want to be able to add a whole story. And what we need to remember is that we can. Once you’ve completed these small steps, you’ll discover a new set of abilities and strengths that will allow you to live better and with less stress. If you still reach a point where you think you need more drastic action, try rope jumping.
